As title says Ford Escort 1300 Sport Mk 1.
Started life in Germany before a second life in New Zealand and a third life here in Australia.
1300GT spec Kent engine with Weber carb and extractors with 4 speed manual gearbox.
Being German makes it what is coliquially called a GCAT shell. Which makes it effectively a strengthened export shell. Has reinforced strut tops, Twin Cam guards, 6 clock dash and a deflector plate on the underside of the boot floor. As an added bonus it has an RS steering wheel and RS alloy wheels.
It was restored a long time ago and that restoration is showing signs of age and wear and tear associated with use.
It is a very rare car in any form and I have never seen another in Australia.
If sold to a customer outside of Western Australia, the registration plates will be removed prior to shipping. Happy to deliver to any shipping depot in the Perth, Au. metro area. All shipping and transport costs forward of the depot is at the purchasers expense.
