The car meets all the requirements for Rally, Sprints, H/ Climbs, FIA circuit racing, T/ Days and fast road. Compete at weekends and drive to work on Monday in the car.
Very successful race history. Many class wins, this car is ready to race. In my opinion, it will be very difficult to find an MGA Coupe which has undergone considerable build costs to produce a very competitive and reliable example.
PART OF THE SPECIFICATION AS FOLLOWS:
ENGINE - built by one of the top specialist race engine builders in the UK. Their reputation is second to none. The engine includes, steel crank, steel rods, forged pistons, uprated cylinder head & valves, sensible drivable drive shaft. Built with no expense spared. Cost approximately £14k.
AXLE - Quaife limited slip differential with uprated half shafts.
GEARBOX - Full straight cut gearbox with uprated clutch and prop shaft.
Latest gas fire extinguisher (FIA approved) along with a top quality FIA race seat, bolt in roll bar which can come in or out dependant on whether you want a passenger seat fitted. Steel 5. 5J rims with a new set of Dunlop 550L's. Alternativery a brand new set of Yokohama's.
The MGA when originally purchased, under went a ground up rebuild with no expense spared to compete in most club competitions. Also very drivable on the road. The cost of parts alone exceed the sale price. With the cost of entries getting more expensive, you have a choice of club events.
