Believed to be one of the best replica builds available, this fantastic Ford GT40 Replica by Roaring Forties is extremely rare and to find one up for grabs is a treat for enthusiasts and collectors. The build quality is exceptional. It drives beautifully and is very well mannered on the open road. It is of course extremely lively should you wish to drive it in that fashion, which is of course encouraged!
The chassis was built in Australia where the company is still based today, the rolling chassis was then shipped to the UK where the (engineer) original owner constructed the rest of the vehicle, including the installation of a 5. 0ltr Ford Racing V8 crate engine, along with a brand-new Audi 6-speed gearbox
The last owner did a mechanical and suspension overhaul. It was stripped down and new parts installed with existing parts stripped and power coated. New fully adjustable Avo suspension springs and coils are fitted along with a new bespoke radiator. It is also equipped with working air-conditioning.
Supplied with a large history file including the original build documentation and spare keys.
