1938 Velocette MSS
Originally a KSS, at some point has had an MSS engine fitted.
Has stood for some time.
I bought it with the intention of just doing whatever commissioning work was needed to ride in current condition.
It starts with a bump or on rollers easily, but struggles to be kick started.
I ran it last week for the first time since owning, started easily, sounds nice, engine is a bit smoky, but could do with a good run.
Clutch feels nice and selects gears nicely.
It needs dynamo covers, has some oil leaks as expected, but not too much work required to get roadworthy.
Sad to see it go, but life has become extremely hectic and I just don’t have the time to get it sorted and ride it, so it has to go.
