Vehicle History:
Marcello Gandini, designer of the more famous Lamborghini Miura, created this hatchback coupe named after a Spanish bullfighting sword in the service of Carrozzeria Bertone, the design firm working for Lamborghini.
Giampetro Piccoli from Vicenza ordered this Espada of the second series and had it delivered to him at the end of August 1971. Until 2000, the most expensive Lamborghini at the time, more expensive than a Miura, remained in Italy before being sold to Greece. The car has now been in Germany since 2014. The current owner invested a lot in the car's technology and appearance in recent years. For example, the cylinder heads were overhauled, the suspension was completely renewed, and new Wilbers shock absorbers were installed. Invoices for about 25, 000 € from the last five years are at hand. This Espada works perfectly and can be used immediately.
