Many would say concourse and I wouldn't argue. A pristine fully restored 1949 TC that needs no further expenditure. This car had a body off restoration in 2016 to 17 in my ownership. Prior to that in 2009 it had a new tank, hood, side screens, tub and wheel repairs, tyres, VW steering, 5 speed gearbox, and other works. The owner at that time spend over £11, 000 on the car.
The 2016 restoration saw everything needing refurbishment done or replaced and included a bare metal repaint. New items included running board, water pump, side lamps, carburettors and filter housing, ?D? lamps, exhaust system, loom, horn, spot lamp, gearbox cover, carpets and trim, engine mounts, bump stops, brake pipes, master cylinder, shock absorbers, centre dash panel, oil drip catch tank, rechromed headlamps and radiator cowl, powder coated wheels etc. Full tonneau. Looks and drives like it was restored yesterday. Come and see it.
