Offered here is a 1938 Ford 7W Tourer which has been the subject of an 18 year total restoration including a full engine rebuild, new telescopic rear suspension units, new upholstery to original specification using the original spring bases, not foam. Fitted with new door cards, carpets and folding roof. New flashing indicators have been mounted under the bumpers. New tyres and a new battery have been installed. Spare parts include a gearbox, clutch, rear axle plus a good 10 HP engine block with crankshaft and oil pump, plus all manner of smaller parts.
Car is for sale as the current owner is retiring overseas. To complete the restoration the new owner will need the expertise of a professional trimmer to install the brass framed rear window unit.
