A late (657 out of 800) Elan S2 limited edition. Just three owners from new and a full specification including Azure Blue metallic paintwork, leather seats and a Nardi steering wheel. Please do not be put off by the mileage; it is in better condition than many examples that have travelled half the distance and drives superbly!

In May 2014, the vehicle passed to a Lotus collector and in August of the same year, it was returned to Morland Jones for a change of cambelt and a new water pump, before being placed into a collection, alongside other Lotus examples, just being removed for MOT tests.
At 98900 recorded miles, the vehicle was brought in to my care and was subject to another major service plus the wheels were fully refinished and two new tyres were been fitted, prior to being sold to its’ current owner. With just 2000 miles added during their ownership, they are only selling due to the imminent arrival of another Lotus.
The hood and hood seals have been replaced (that’s a £1500 job) and are in an outstanding condition and the leather seats have been re-finished and show very little wear. They have responded well to a good feed and are nicely supple to the touch. Detailed images are available upon request. The paintwork is in a condition that really is comparable with a vehicle of half the mileage.
N949 RPA really does drive very well indeed. The huge investment in main dealer servicing has kept the vehicle in a tip-top mechanical condition and currently it wants for nothing. I will, however, submit the vehicle for a further service, prior to collection by its’ next owner.
Accompanying the vehicle is the original owners’ pack with the service stamps, three keys and a good selection of previous invoices. I have undertaken an HPI check, showing no adverse information and a copy is on file for the benefit of the next owner.
