Description
This super little Fiat 500 in very rare, right-hand drive form, has been in the same family ownership since 2006, and prior to that, was with the previous keeper for 13 years. The car has been rebuilt over a long period, including brand new Fiat 650 engine at 84, 000 miles, fitted with Abarth valve cover, sump and cowling cover, new Webber carb and fuel pump. The gearbox was rebuilt and a new clutch fitted, together with Abarth gate change gear lever. A sports exhaust, four chrome Borrani wire wheels and new seat covers were fitted. The body was rebuilt with wing extensions and lowered suspension and was then resprayed in Ferrari Red. In addition, the car is fitted with front disc brakes and electronic ignition. It remains in very good condition and is great fun to drive with its fabric sunroof and of course, the extra power provided by the larger engine. Paperwork includes old MOTs dating back to 1991/ 92 and a long list of work carried out since 1991. These right-hand drive models are very difficult to find – so don’t delay and buy today!!
