The 1969 MK2 model year MGB was possibly the finest model built, incorporating the leather upholstery and features of the early cars, with the reclining seats and upgrades of the later models.
This Tartan Red tax free GT left Abingdon fitted with Automatic Gearbox, Wire Wheels, Heater and Heated Rear Window and was delivered to it's first of four previous owners via University Motors and Dick Jacobs' Mill Garage.
The car has completed just 27000 miles since a total rebuild of the original engine by Oselli Engineering and the fitment of a replacement gearbox.
At the same time electronic ignition, Kenlow electric fan, stainless steel exhaust complete with manifold and chromed air cleaners were also fitted.
The heater has been refurbished and has a larger radiator, motor and fan. The car has a walnut veneered dashboard and the windscreen washers have been converted to electric push button to match the original manual pump version.
The seats have been reupholstered in black leather with red piping, with new carpets and side trims to match.
Hidden in the spare wheel compartment is the Pioneer CD Multi changer and the dash mounted radio incorporates a hidden tape player.
A period leather bound Motolita steering wheel is also fitted.
The original wheels have been replaced with Dunlop chrome wires fitted with excellent tires.
Extensive waxoiling has been undertaken and the car has road fund licence and MOT to May 2011.

I have the last 10 years M. O. T's. I forgot to mention new halogen headlights, recent fuel pump, new water valve and hoses. The underside is in very good condition and new wings and cills have been fitted.
As we wish to remain members of the MG Owners Club I would consider an MG ZS turbo diesel on an exchange basis.
