It was delivered new in California, and retains its original engine and gearbox.
The car is a 'matching number' in exceptionally well-preserved condition, having been in Los Angeles for more than 60 years... The car is accompanied by its KARDEX certificate of authenticity and period photos. It has undergone a recent high-level cosmetic restoration in France, including a completely new interior redone by a renowned Porsche saddler. All seals are new, and 80% of the chrome has been redone.
The original engine in concours condition has been completely overhauled, carburettors, fuel pump and ignition are new. The brakes, suspension, bushes, shock absorbers and silent blocks have been rebuilt or overhauled and the tyres are new. The car comes with a large number of maintenance invoices in a complete file. The car does not require any restoration despite the defects of the paintwork, which is in places cracked by the sun, and should be kept in its original condition with a patina that makes it a perfect car for use.
The structure (floorboards, wheel arches, side members) is in excellent condition, with its original soundproofing! An original Californian car like few others on the market, which is reliable, with perfect mechanicals and ready to take to the road in complete safety.
