Very last of the Ford Escort mk1 1300E, registered 1st of Jan 1975, super rare in factory black with vinyl roof. HPI clear, low owners, no colour changes. Still registered as a 1300. Tax and MOT exempt.
Very genuine and solid rust free survivor shell showing 49k miles on the clock and retaining it's distinctive reg number HFV 999N and many original interior and exterior features. Mechanically and cosmetically 'Spammed up' with a combination of traditional and modern tuning components and modifications, including a Pinto engine with a big valve ported and polished head, twin 45 Webers, GAZ shock absorbers, adjustable suspension mounts, lowering blocks, quick shift, limited slip diff, front disc brakes, stainless steel exhaust and much more.
Beautiful original wood trim inside, 6 dial dash, enhanced with an RS steering wheel, new carpet and bucket seats. Very straight bodywork with the gleaming black paintwork retaining a deep shine. All the bumpers, trims, badges and the vinyl roof all in lovely condition. The glass still has the original reg number security etched. Full compliment of Cibie style spot lamps and new 4 spoke RS style polished alloys with Yokohama tyres.
