BMW 1800 Ti (Neu Klasse)
This car was built in the early 2000s to compete in the new Under 2 litre Historic Touring Car Championship. The car was not used due to Health issues and eventually sold. In 2014 we started looking after the car. The new owners raced across Europe and the UK, Goodwood Member's meeting, Silverstone Classic and Spa to name a few.
We purchased the car in 2019 and after a full re vamp used it as a test bed and development car. Various drivers drove it during this time: The car achieved an overall Championship and many class wins.
Offered for sale having been re built and not used for a season.
The engine is our latest 1800 Fia unit and is new, the dog leg 5 speed gearbox has been refreshed, the diff has 2 hours on it.
Overall the car is in a very neat and tidy condition. The Fia HTP is current and all date sensitive items are in date.
The BMW Nue Klasse, or Tisa as they are often referred as; are one of the best Historic Touring Cars to drive - safe, reliable and a great confidence builder. Being different they receive entries for prestige events where the organisers like to field a mixed grid.
This car is eligible for: MRL U2TC, CTCRC, HSCC, Peter Auto, Masters and of course Goodwood.
