This magnificent MGA 1500 coupe has undergone a complete and meticulous restoration many years ago.
The elegant design of the MGA broke radically with the archaic appearance of the preceding MG TD and MG TF models. It draws heavily on the profile of the MG TD Le Mans, designed by Sid Evener in 1951.
Originally conceived as a roadster, the MGA featured a superb steel hardtop, a three-piece rear window and door handles unique to it, not found on the roadster.
This MGA 1500 coupe retains all its original details, including its grey wire wheels and its original steering wheel!
The blue interior creates a sumptuous cabin with its numerous gauges and chromed surrounds.
Its 1, 500 cc four-cylinder engine develops 72 bhp, giving the MGA a lively and sporty character. Around 6, 275 MGA coupes were produced, making it a rare MGA model!
The chrome LUCAS headlights, placed either side of the grille, add an extra touch of elegance to this classic sports car.
