Less then 19, 000 documented miles from new & freshly serviced in mint condition. This is a very special "Springfield Dawn" version of the last of the Rolls Royce Silver Spur cars. The car has just been to Colbrook Specialists for a full service including regassing the air conditioning & fitting new spheres all round to the suspension. The car is thus absolutely ready to go & in perfect order with a brand new set of red Lambswool over rugs being made for the car as I write which will of course be installed prior to delivery.
Purchased by the previous owners late father from Straight Eight Rolls-Royce and Bentley in the New Forest in 2002 as an addition to their significant private collection, chassis ‘59307’ had covered just 15, 950 miles from new at this time. Pressed into gentle use during the first year of ownership, the Dawn was provided with a speedometer change later in 2002 (by Rolls-Royce Knutsford) at 16, 415 miles and thereafter has only covered extremely minimal mileage as part of the collection. With less then 18, 000 miles from new (1, 214 miles on the new odometer), this is an exceptionally low mileage example. The mileage will increase slightly whilst it is in stock with us as it is such a joy to drive it.
Manufactured in 1997, this Silver Dawn is finished from the factory in Red Pearl over Silica paintwork with Silica fine lines, the Dawn was specified with the Springfield interior trim that was available at the time on limited edition Silver Spurs to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Rolls-Royce manufacturing cars at Springfield, Massachusetts, and is believed unique on a Silver Dawn. Constituting Chesterfield quilted buttoned style seats, door armrests, and door panels, the interior is trimmed in Magnolia hide upholstery, maroon carpets, and Parchment hide headlining. In addition, the interior features cocktail requisites, picnic tables with enclosed storage/ laptop receptacles, and a rear armrest bottle cooler compartment.
Supplied with a history file, it includes the original owner’s manual, stamped service book, a selection of previous MOT certificates, an MOT certificate until May 2025, sundry paperwork, and a current V5C document.
