Introduced in 1992, the ****** RS Cosworth was a homologation special based on the fifth generation Ford ****** and its sole role was to incorporate parts that Ford planned to use in their 'Group A' rally cars to ensure success in the World Rally Championship, a 'Group A' rally car for the road - pure and simple
Presented in desirable Radiant Red with a black leather Recaro interior and first registered in the UK on 12/ 08/ 1993 (build date November 1992), this is one of the early 2, 500 homologation cars
It's powered by the 2. 0-litre YBT 'big turbo' Cosworth engine, remaining in standard specification and producing 227bhp mated to a 5-speed MT75 gearbox
Showing 70, 761 miles indicated at the time of cataloguing, with MOT until March 2027 issued with no advisories, four years current ownership and just two former registered keepers
