The model shown here is a MG MIDGET MKIII from January 1974, in its original White colour.
Overall excellent presentation with a uniform hue and high gloss.
After professional polishing by our workshop’s orbital machine, we noted a few paint chips on the driver’s door edge.
The bumpers and chrome trim are well fitted and in good condition despite minor oxidation marks on the bumper ends and light dings on the right bumper end.
The grille chrome is in good condition.
Original side mouldings and decorative trim are complete and in good condition.
The original 4 MINILITE 13’’ alloy wheels are in excellent condition.
The two front tyres (TRISTAR) show 15% wear; the rear tyres (KUMHO) show 25% wear.
This car is also fitted with a black tonneau cover and a black cap cover in good condition.
The tan vinyl soft top is pristine.
Fitment is straightforward and watertightness remains in line with period standards.
This model is fitted with a chromed boot badge (luggage rack) and its original steel spare wheel with jack.

Engine / Transmission:
A comprehensive invoice history since 2021 confirms regular servicing by marque specialists (Total: €7, 419).
The 4-cylinder engine runs perfectly.
Compression checks and road test confirm a healthy engine.
The 4-cylinder starts immediately, with no smoke or unusual noises and smooth idle, as shown in the 360° video with engine running at the start of the slide show.
Oil pressure when cold is 40 PSI at 1100 rpm.
Once warm, revs rise smoothly without snags.
Alternator replaced in 2025 (€160) and starter motor in 2024 (€363).
The engine note is enhanced by a twin exhaust.
All four gears mesh and select without issue, particularly the synchromesh.
Clutch grip is excellent; the clutch and release bearing were replaced in 2025 (invoice available).
As is common on these models, engine/ gearbox/ drivetrain seals are only average.
