Exterior / Body:
The model presented here is a November 1977 911 2. 7 Targa in its original “Platinum Diamond 944” colour (matching colour).
The paint is in new condition with excellent gloss and depth.
It has been recently restored (photo dossier available).
On this occasion the body was taken apart to receive a full repaint including removal of the following components: windscreen / rear window / bumpers / door handles and locks.
The chassis was fully sanded, primed and repainted in the original colour “Platinum Diamond 944” (matching colour).
The bumpers are perfectly aligned and in excellent condition.
The Targa roof in faux leather colour “Schwarz” is presentable.
The Targa roll bar in aluminium is in excellent condition.
The windscreen and tinted glass in colour “Grun” are in excellent condition as well.
The electric mirrors are non-functional.
The 4 16” Fuchs wheels are in good condition, with no signs of impact or distortion.
The 4 Pirelli tires show 20% wear.
This example retains its original Space Saver spare wheel.

Interior:
The interior retains its original layout and presents well.
Beige faux leather upholstery is in good original condition despite slight wear on the seat cushion and a nick on the driver’s seat edge.

Beige faux leather door panels and interior trim are in good condition.
The beige leather dashboard cap shows some wear marks on the driver’s side.
All original VDO instruments are fully functional, as is the clock; however the daily counter is non-functional.
The original 3-spoke wheel shows wear and is fitted with a horn cover.
The original bakelite gear knob is in good condition.
We note the absence of sun visors.
This example also features a fully functional PIONEER CD radio.
The carpets in “Schwarz” are in excellent condition.

Chassis:
Lifting the car confirms a solid shell with no visible accident damage or apparent structural corrosion.
Foundations: floors, spare wheel well, longitudinals, sills and wheel arches are in good order.
Usability reserve: by principle we cannot guarantee perfect alignment beyond what is visually and functionally acceptable during road test and on the lift.
During the dynamic test we detected no unusual rattles or noises from the body or suspension components (tie-rod ends, bushes, etc.).
Handling is improved by rear KONI shock absorbers and a front anti-sway bar.
Braking is balanced, stable and responsive, with no vibrations or unusual noises.
Front and rear brake discs show 10% wear.
Front brake pads show 20% wear.
Rear brake pads show 30% wear.
A future technical inspection by our workshop prior to delivery will confirm full functionality.
Engine / Transmission:
The mechanicals are functioning perfectly.
Compression readings and road test by our workshop confirm a healthy engine.
The flat-six starts instantly and idling is stable, as shown in the 360° video with the engine running, available at the start of the slide show.
Oil pressure when cold is 1. 3 bar at 1000 rpm.
When warmed up, the engine revs normally without overheating.
The sound is enhanced by the stainless DANSK exhaust system.
The original 915-type gearbox engages all 5 gears smoothly, with no issues on the synchros.
As is common with older engines, engine-to-gearbox sealing is average.
