A 'Noriel' is exactly the sort of machine that British motorcycle enthusiasts love: a special built by combining major components from different manufacturers -and this one has been lovingly built utilising an Ariel Red Hunter frame fitted with a Norton ES2 engine and built into a very capable Pre-1965 trials machine, that benefits from being road-registered
The original bike had trialling heritage and when fitted with the 1949 ES2 engine, an overhead OHV of 490cc and great low down torque, it became a winning combination
This machine has been superbly put together using BSA B50 forks and has had an engine strip, new oil pump, chain and sprockets, headstock bearings, custom exhaust and oil tank, new rear shocks, remote 'screw-on' oil filter, and stainless bolts
It's fitted with a custom-made, laser-cut engine/ sump guard and sports an Ariel tank and trials seat, new mudguards and stays
Supplied a large folder of invoices for parts and work done
This smart Noriel is road-registered with a current V5C, reportedly running well and ready to compete in Pre-65 trials
