BMW M3 E36 Matter Group N 3200cc
Available at CMS Racing Cars, a completely original BMW E36 Matter Group N with an original E36 M3 3. 2-liter stock engine (330 hp / 1100 kg), dyno-tested in 2025. Life engine electronics. The engine features a 3. 0-liter cylinder head and VANOS system.
Engine and Transmission: OEM ZF 5-speed transmission. Complete original clutch. M3 3. 2-liter oil pan with oil pump. New complete stainless steel racing exhaust system with X-configuration. Completely original differential with racing bevel gear.
Chassis: Original Matter chassis with original FIA homologation certificate. The chassis has been completely restored by professionals, without replacing any original components, and has been completely repainted. Oram shock absorbers completely overhauled and adjustable at the front. All four wheel bearings are new. Original BMW rack-and-pinion steering. New polyurethane silent blocks. Reinforced engine and gearbox mounts.
Interior and electronics: Simplified wiring; original period STACK dashboard combined with the new "Life" electronics installed on the car. New battery. Complete fire extinguishing system for the passenger compartment and engine compartment. Bucket seat and seat belts with expired homologation (allowed to expire to avoid contaminating the new components during testing).
Brakes: Front brake calipers (Brembo) completely overhauled and equipped with cooling system. New Brembo floating front brake discs. New PFC front brake pads. Rear brake calipers completely overhauled with original BMW parts. New aircraft brake lines.
Original BMW OEM fuel tank with internal racing foam (MERIN), compliant with FIA specifications.
Engine components have been cleaned using a specific dry ice blasting treatment.
A complete documentation of the car's restoration has been created.
All spare parts and the set of original BMW wheels (magnesium) will be delivered with the car.
