Description
This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Motorcycle Sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2026 on Sunday the 15th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT.
Introduced in 1960, the Dream was one of Honda's landmark designs and helped establish the company's reputation for building refined, reliable four-stroke motorcycles at a time when many competitors were still producing simpler two-strokes
The Dream C72 was remarkably sophisticated for its era as it offered smooth twin-cylinder performance, an overhead-cam engine when many rivals still used pushrods or side valves, polished alloy engine cases and precise engineering, electric starting, excellent reliability and clean running compared with British singles and twins of the period
A UK bike from new, this 1964 C72E is supplied with a V5C (correctly classed as Historic) and a dating certificate from the VJMCC
Finished in Honda Scarlet Red, this example appears remarkably original and is being sold with no reserve
