Originally built in 2003 by renowned Cobra specialist Dave Brookes of DB Replicas, this is an original chassis car that has clearly benefited from careful ownership and ongoing development throughout its life. At its heart sits a formidable 383ci Chevrolet Stroker V8, delivering the unmistakable sound, torque and character that Cobra enthusiasts seek. Power is transferred through a highly desirable Tremec TKO manual gearbox and Jaguar Power-Lok differential, providing strong performance and excellent drivability.
The engine was comprehensively rebuilt by Austec Racing in 2007, incorporating an Eagle fully forged rotating assembly, COMP Camshaft, upgraded sump, MSD ignition components and Edelbrock carburation, resulting in a robust and highly capable package.
This example also benefits from an extended footwell configuration, making it particularly suitable for taller drivers without compromising the classic Cobra driving position.
