Description
1978 Triumph Stag Mk2 — Pimento Red, 54, 000 Miles
A particularly charming and highly usable example of the Triumph Stag, this 1978 Mk2 benefits from an unusually appealing ownership history, with just two former keepers from new and a credible 54, 000 miles from new.
The car was originally owned by its first keeper until 2007 and spent the early part of its life in Guernsey, before subsequently being imported to the UK. It is presented in its original and highly desirable Pimento Red with Black interior, a quintessential colour combination for the Stag and one that suits the car beautifully.
Fitted from the factory with the three-speed automatic gearbox, this Stag is a wonderfully easy car to enjoy. Mechanically faultless and genuinely usable, it offers the ideal combination of classic character and effortless touring ability, whether used for longer journeys, weekend trips or simply enjoying a sunny afternoon with the roof down.
The car is also supplied with its original factory hardtop, giving the next owner the flexibility to enjoy the Stag in both open and fixed-roof configuration.
With its remarkably low mileage, only two former keepers, fascinating Guernsey history, original colour combination, automatic transmission and factory hardtop, this is an especially appealing Stag with a genuine sense of provenance. A lovely example of Triumph’s iconic British V8 grand tourer, ready to be enjoyed.
