From its inception, Bultaco took an interest in various off-road disciplines. For motocross, the Sherpa S emerged in its early versions: originally, it was merely a derivative of the Tralla, a road bike. However, it gradually adapted to the demands of this discipline, thanks to improved suspension, a more robust frame, a punchier engine and a four-speed gearbox with fairly short ratios. The Sherpa S is considered the ancestor of the Pursang and was the first off-road competition motorcycle offered to customers in Spain.
Several series existed, notably in 175 cc, 125 cc and 100 cc. Our example is a 125 cc of exceptional quality, its owner having maintained it with meticulous care. A rare model, all the more so in the condition we are presenting.
