Beschreibung
A very fine and lovely looking example of the Sunbeam Talbot 90 MkII A four door saloon, finished in Talbot Blue metallic. The exterior is complemented by a Grey leather hide trim seats interior in good condition, with a nice patina.
The car looks absolutely brilliant in this colour blue and is good to drive and exhibit. Has the 2267cc Rootes Group engine, which is very well matched to the size of car - makes for easy driving in modern traffic. Sounds wonderful.
MoT until June 2012 - with excellent mechanics. The car has a column shift gearbox with four forward gears and reverse. Lots of history information, including the past 15 years of MoT's and service receipts. Major service done in 2009.
New battery and regulator also recently fitted. Has a good set of tyres. Chrome work is generally very good, with slight pitting on the door handles (spare set available).
Some minor chrome loss on wheel embellisher (these are easily replaceable if judged to be needed).
Has a lovely interior, with the blue carpets and the beige wool finish head-lining being in very good condition.
Dashboard, glove-box and steering wheel are also very good.
HMV valve radio and heater fitted - both in working condition. It has an operating sliding sun-roof, and a complete tool-kit in the boot.
Original versions of the owner's handbook, HMV radio instructions, and workshop manuals are provided.
This a wonderfully solid, straight-forward and honest example of this great classic car - presents itself very well for driving and viewing.
