Description
This car has had a full body of restoration. It has been converted from LHD to RHD and has had its engine gearbox and final drive rebuilt. It is fitted with a Kenlowe fan and a header tank. It has an electronic ignition system and a rebuilt distributor. I have had a stainless steel exhaust system fitted. It also has a spin on oil filter. It is trimmed in grey leather with blue piping and grey carpets and a Motalita steering wheel to set it off. The car is painted in ice blue metallic, it has a new hood in blue and a new tonneau cover. It sits on new chrome wires and Fulda tyres and has new hub adaptors and winged spinners, the rest of the brghtwork has all been replaced or replated. It starts on the button ticks over smoothly at very low revs and runs at a low temperature. This is a rare and sought after car, I hesitate to upset Healey fans but I have owned both and the dart is a much more comfortable car to drive. It does not cook your feet and legs on warm days as do Healeys. It also has a large boot and a useful occasional rear bench seat.
