Suzuki TS185 ER. 1980 'V' Reg, bright red with orange & white graphics. Full MOT at sale, with 1 previous owner. Was in long term storage (circa 30 yrs!) prior to me purchasing the bike having been laid up when it was around 12 months old. As a result of the bike being so young when it was laid up it's unmolested & incredibly original. The bike has been recommissioned including new tyres, tubes, a full engine service, rebuilt fuel tap, ultrasonically cleaned carb & battery. The bike is so straight & original I'm loathed to fully restore it - it's not perfect, the silver painted parts have pickled slightly & some of the chrome is pitted but it's so honest it seems a shame to lose all of the patina it's spent the last 34 years collecting! It could however be very easily restored to concourse condition as it's all there & original. Change of plans, lack of space & a realistaion that i'm not actually going to use the bike means it needs to go to a new home. The bike can be used as is, tidied up slightly or restored to concourse - your call. The bike comes with handbook, factory manual, original V5, V5C, MOT cert, original (and only) tax disc & original toolkit! I even have the original tyres & plugcap if the buyer wants them! I honestly think that this is one of the straightest & most original examples of a TS185ER in existance. Go on - relive your youth for less than a few months depreciation on a new bike!
