Here we have for sale my Rover 220 Turbo finished in the unusual colour of Polynesian Turquoise. I bought the car in Aug 2014 and have loved every minute of owning it
This example is in excellent original condition and still has the Torsen LSD fitted. However there are a few choice upgrades including 16" 'hairpin' alloy wheels and a stainless scorpion exhaust system which gives a nice sound without being too boy racerish
I have a huge history file to go with the car with numerous receipts, invoices and old MOT certificates dating back a number of years
The bodywork is in generally good condition for a 20 year old car but there are a couple of areas where it is beginning to show its age. There is a little lacquer peel under the drivers door mirror, a small dent on the drivers side front wing and a small patch of rust bubbling up ahead of the n/ s/ r wheel arch. However with these small areas sorted, this would be a great modern classic in time for the summer shows!
Engine wise the car is fantastic and astonishingly fast! Myself and previous owner have serviced the car every summer. Unfortunately it does suffer from the usual T16 oil leaks where it seeps from the rocker cover gasket but nothing too serious.
I will be extremely sad to see this car go and had intended to keep it for a number of years but unfortunately need the money!
