It has had a lot of mechanical work done in the last year at renowned Lotus specialist Paul Matty Sportscars.
Full service at Paul Matty last year
Recent work includes halogen front headlamp conversion, new rear brake discs and pads and wheel bearings, new brake hoses, new engine mount, carburettors stripped and cleaned out.

replace servo nose and non return valve
replaced drive shaft couplings
newcoil supply, rotor arms and plugs, replace vacuum piping to headlights, fit new horn .
It had an overhaul including fitting a new galvanised chassis in 2004 - I have photos of this from the previous owner. The engine was also rebuilt by vega tune. It has an electric cooling fan and battery isolator switch fitted.
Paintwork is ok but not brilliant - it has the patina of age as most vendors seem to describe it.
The car drives well and the gearchange is smooth.
