Description
This is a bike I bought to take to the Pyrenees in 2016 and intended to use on LDTs. It has been comprehensively rewired with 12v lights and battery, rect/ reg and rewired generator. It has had the valve stem o rings renewed, wheel bearings and swing arm bearings replaced, rear wheel re-spoked and comes fitted with a specially made 36T rear sprocket as well as the standard sprocket plus a spare NOS rear sprocket. There's a new Pirelli MT43 rear tyre/ tube/ rim tape too, and it is fitted with a Motad exhaust and comes with a spare carb.
Everything works as it should with excellent handling and is as suitable for off-road touring as on-road. Light and lithe, this is a great example of Suzuki's take on the Yam XT500. General condition is good. MOT to Sept 2018
