This is a Bugatti Type 35 replica built using a fiberglass molsheim style body and Triumph running gear.
Powered by a Mk1 2lt Triumph Vitesse six cylinder engine and 4 speed gearbox.
The motor was rebuilt with new shell bearings and new piston rings so runs and sounds very sweet on a bespoke stainless exhaust.

The car has a full MOT, drives, runs and stops but it still needs some "road development" and input from a new owner as it's had very little use.
This is not the most original example of a BUGATTI 35 replica but it's one of the few traditional ones.
Being fitted up front (where it should be) with a fairly large multi cylinder, water cooled engine, producing nearly twice the BHP and torque of the average VW flat four, air cooled rear mounted examples.
Because of this engine arrangement the very poor under steer of which all rear mounted examples are known for is eliminated.
However this car is fitted with MG C 19" wire wheels and 4. 50x19 cross-ply tyres, which although are period correct they do not help the handling!!.
The mudguard were an after thought but can easily be removed giving the "race track" look!!
The original donor car was manufactured pre January 1977 (heritage certificate included) so it's UK tax exempt. Also as it's over 40 years old exporting it should be easier.
V5C (log book) present and registered as a Triumph Spitfire but as I have all the build details and receipts this can be changed via DVLA if required.
Open to sensible offers and will take P/ X on a boat, campervan , motorcycle ect.
