Here for sale we have a very early Series 2, being just number 1317 off the line based on the VIN number. On the outside, the vehicle has many period features, such as the Razor Edge Bonnet, period mirrors, rear grab handles, correct vintage numberplates and original galvanised cappings. A recent green canvas and a recent set of sticks is fitted, along with larger 750 tyres with knobbly tread to aid off-road ability and lengthen gearing to allow more relaxed cruising. A towbar with working electrics is also fitted to enable towing with the vehicle. All of this means the vehicle stands really well - and is very imposing both when parked and on the road.
On the inside, the vehicle is remarkably standard, with a recent set of standard front seats and twin rear benches with recent tailgate. This gives a capacity of 7 occupants, which makes this vehicle ideal for those with a sizeable family, or the need to transport passengers. The only addition to the cabin is an aftermarket heater, which also provides front de-misting to the windscreen. Twin wipers and deluxe matting are fitted throughout as with all our vehicles.
