MGB MK1 CABRIOLET - 1965 1923Autos presents this magnificent MGB, in its cabriolet version.

As well as being a car that has been looked after since its restoration, it's in virtually impeccable condition! Its current owner 'named' it as his first 'car passion'. After some wonderful moments, and by mutual agreement with his family, he would like to change cars and experience other sensations, but still in cars... Let's be reassured, the passion for motoring still has many beautiful years ahead of it, let's not doubt it.
On test, this MGB is perfect, with no suspicious noises, healthy handling and an engine that works perfectly. The brakes are 'original', the steering is precise and 'non-floating', and acceleration is straightforward and smooth.
In detail, we present our MGB: Service history: We have had a service history since 2016. This MGB was restored in Holland and sold by us in 2016 to its current owner.
We include three blank technical inspections with no major elements. To complete the picture, we are making the following items available: - 2016 expert report - "Joly vintage cars" maintenance file, maintenance, oil changes, clutch, engine mounts, etc. Chassis: The chassis shows no signs of corrosion and looks very good, see photos. The chassis is not "greasy" and there are no abnormal leaks. The cables are routed correctly and there's no 'tinkering' underneath. Similarly, the silentblocks are in good condition and the exhaust mounts are in good condition. There is a minor deformation on one of the crossmembers, but the whole thing is in very good condition and aligned.
Bodywork and running gear: The car is in very good condition, with good quality paintwork. The windows and windscreen are in good condition and the alignment is all good. The car is fitted with "Frigidaire" type handles. The chrome, headlight surrounds, grille, mirrors and door handles are in very good condition. There are no signs of corrosion or paintwork defects.
The wire wheels are in very good condition, with no broken spokes. The 4 tyres, size 185 R14, are in good condition and are not dry.
Interior: All parts work, the seats are in good condition and the upholstery is clean. The leathers are very clean and the seats are not worn, although the needle on the speedo is "not very precise" and the speedo cable is certainly a little tired.
The soft top is in perfect condition and the seal is "original".
Mechanics All the necessary maintenance has been carried out.
The engine compartment is very clean and the mechanics are very nice. A circuit breaker and oil cooler have been added. Engine compression is good, idle is good and revs up are excellent with no misfires.
The wiring harness and hoses are clean and in very good condition.
The driveshaft and rear axle are in good condition with no play.
