The Alternative Propulsion garage in Béziers (34) offers you this first-generation Jaguar XJ-S in excellent condition. This is the very first version to be produced (put on the road on 22/ 03/ 1976), and older owners will remember seeing it in the series "The return of The Saint" in the late 1970s.
Its 5. 3-litre V12 engine develops 285bhp at 5500rpm and is mated to a Borg-Warner 3-speed gearbox. This model is unique in that it has no corrosion and has been kept in very good original condition.
Its exterior paintwork is a light blue, combined with a dark blue interior, and the leather is in very good condition.
It has recently benefited from mechanical work: -engine overhaul with replacement of oil filter and air filters, oil and 12 spark plugs -gearbox change -brake cleaning -repair of 5 Kent rims (stripping, diamond machining, painting, varnishing) -replacement of 5 tyres -repair of fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel hoses This vehicle embodies the 50th anniversary of the XJ-S's launch this year. Some care will still be needed if you want to make it a racing car, but it can be used as is for great classic car outings!
