BMW 528i e12 Luxe This magnificent example in "Artiskblau metal" blue left the BMW factory in Munich in January 1980. It has had several owners and has remained at a standstill for several years, hence its low mileage, which can be verified on histovec. The interior is in very good condition for its 45 years, with the option of 4 electric windows, power steering, electric rear-view mirror and rear headrests.
The exterior is very clean and the underpinnings are sound, although there is a spot of rust on the front and rear windscreens and a small dent on the front right wing. The M30B28 engine with its Bosch injection breathes like new.
It's a real pleasure to drive, as this little saloon combines comfort and performance. A major service has been carried out to enable me to take to the road with peace of mind. Water system: new water pump, radiator, visco-coupler and hoses with original BMW parts. Fuel system: Pump, hoses, buffer tank and filter new.
Injectors cleaned and reassembled with new gaskets. Engine top gaskets, spark plugs, filters and both belts replaced. New battery. Brake system drain. The car is fitted with 4 new BF Goodrige tyres and 4 additional Mahle BBS vintage rims (535i type).
There are still a few small finishing touches to be done to make it perfect: Two rust spots on the front and rear bay, driver lock, front driver door scissor to be replaced, 1 speaker cover missing.
