Hello, I’m selling my P1800, chassis 13845, from 1965.
I bought it in 2018 in the United States and have covered just under 10, 000 km since then.
The car was completely restored in 2015-2016; the person who carried out the work spent 3, 000 hours and $15, 000 on parts. Not a nut or bolt was left untouched.
Everything has been redone, except the paint, which dates from the late 1970s and has intentionally been left as is.
The list of parts replaced or rebuilt is too long to detail here. A complete file can be sent on a motivated request.
The history I have shows the vehicle has only about 60, 000 miles on the odometer (approximately 100, 000 km).
The vehicle is solid and reliable; this summer I undertook a 1, 000 km run without any issues.
The engine has been fully dismantled, rebuilt, and fitted with electronic ignition; it starts perfectly. The handling is solid, gear changes are crisp, the car tracks straight and brakes properly. The overdrive works perfectly and offers a fifth gear for relaxed cruising at sustained motorway speeds, for example.
The dashboard, new, is stunning; the gauges and dials have been refurbished and work, with the exception of the oil temperature gauge and the clock.
The wiring loom is new. All seals have been replaced.
The Uniroyal tyres are in very good condition and the Maxilite wheels are like new, while the original wheels and hubcaps, in good condition, will be supplied with the car.
The suspension bushes are new and an anti-roll bar has been fitted.
There is a small dent on the chrome grille, period-correct bodywork, and a little filler around the rear left wheel arch.
The car is parked under its cover in a locked garage. The keys (ignition and locks) have duplicates.
The technical inspections carried out (2019, 2024) are clean; a new MOT will be performed for the sale. The registration document is in the collection category, so the MOT is valid for five years.
