Exterior / Body: The model shown here is a January 1974 Bertone 2000 GT Veloce coupé in the period colour “Grigio 727”. The bodywork received a full repaint a few years ago. It is in very good condition, showing a uniform hue and excellent gloss. After a professional polish with an orbital machine, we noted a small scratch at the bottom of the right rear wing and a small paint chip on the right front wing. We also noted a small paint chip on the bonnet, the windscreen surround on the driver’s side and the trunk lid. The bumpers and their rubbers are in good original condition. They show some oxidation marks and light micro-scratches. We noted a deformation on the central part of the rear bumper as well as a small dent. The tinted windscreen in the color “Verde” shows light graveling and a small chip on the passenger side. The green-tinted glass is in excellent condition. The chrome rear-view mirror is also in excellent condition. This example retains its original rear wing scudettos. All front and rear light lenses are in excellent condition. We noted a crack on the left rear light. The 14” steel wheels are in good condition. This exemplar is equipped with its original chrome centre wheel hubs. The four tyres will be replaced with new prior to delivery. This specimen also retains its original spare wheel as well as its crank handle and jack. Among the notable “body” equipment and options on this model, we note: the rear wing scudettos, the original chrome Alfa Romeo centre wheel hubs and the chrome rear-view mirror. Interior: The interior has kept its original configuration. Beige faux leather upholstery is in good condition. We noted a small tear on the left side of the rear bench seat and slight sagging of the driver’s seat. Beige faux leather door panels are in good condition. The passenger door panel has a small defect at the lower right corner. Aluminium ALFA ROMEO sill plates are in very good condition. This exemplar is equipped with front seat belts. The handbrake leather boot in Nero colour is in good condition. The perforated Bianco-coloured faux leather headliner is in very good condition, as is the Nero coloured luggage deck. The dashboard and its cap are in excellent condition, with no cracks or deformations. The original wood decorative trim is also in good condition. The entire JAEGER instrument cluster is fully functional. The original Alfa Romeo wooden steering wheel is in good condition despite some lacquer shrinkage. The Bakelite gear knob is in excellent condition. The Nero coloured carpets are in good condition, with no wear, tears or discoloration. Among the notable “Interior” equipment and options on this exemplar, we note: the original Alfa Romeo wood steering wheel, the original Bakelite gear knob and the front seat belts. Chassis: The road test confirms a sound body, with no visible accident damage and no apparent structural corrosion. The fundamentals: floors, wheel arches, boot floor and spare wheel well, etc.
