History of the Jubilé limited series
Porsche introduced this Jubilé limited edition at the end of 1987 for the 1988 model year, with the aim of celebrating 250, 000 911s produced. This also coincided with the 25th anniversary of the 911, launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1963.
Limited to 875 units, the Jubilé series was offered in 165 Targas, 205 Cabrios and 505 Coupés, of which 30 were for the French market.
The collector's badge is its specific Metallic Diamond Blue colour (code L 697) with matching Fuchs wheels and the Diamond Blue leather interior with the Ferry Porsche signature on the front headrests.
Special feature of this example:
Air‑cooled flat‑six engine, among the most reliable, displacing 3200cc/ 231hp, electronic injection, five‑speed G50 transmission.
