HISTORY:
An icon of automotive design
The Mercedes 250 SL Pagode is one of the brand’s most iconic models with the star. Elegant, refined and balanced, it perfectly embodies Mercedes‑Benz’s style and know‑how. Designed to combine sportiness and comfort, it remains today a key reference in the world of classic cars.
A unique and instantly recognisable design
The Mercedes 250 SL owes its nickname “Pagode” to the concave shape of its removable roof, inspired by Asian architecture. This aesthetic peculiarity has become its signature. Its flowing lines, long bonnet and short tail reflect the elegance typical of Mercedes roadsters of the 1960s. Every detail of the Pagode exudes luxury and German precision.
Mercedes 250 SL Pagode: a refined and high‑performance engine
Under the bonnet, the Mercedes 250 SL Pagode houses a 2. 5‑litre inline six. This smooth and reliable engine delivers around 150 horsepower, offering a driving experience that is both dynamic and pleasurable. Paired with a manual or automatic gearbox, it provides a driving experience that is smooth and comfortable, ideal for long journeys as well as Sunday spins.
A refined and harmonious interior
The cabin of the Mercedes 250 SL Pagode blends elegance and practicality. The materials are noble, with wood trim, high‑grade leather and instrumentation of exemplary clarity. Every detail has been designed for comfort and driving pleasure. It is a car that marries sophistication and simplicity perfectly.
Why the Mercedes 250 SL Pagode is an icon of collection
The 250 SL Pagode is today one of the most sought‑after models among classic car enthusiasts. Its limited production, timeless style and legendary reliability make it a safe bet in the world of collections. It appeals as much by its beauty as by its driving pleasure.
