Description
Imagine a thirties racing car, but without the cold-start issues or capricious gearboxes. What you see here is an Alvis 3-Litre Special, built with passion, precision and craftsmanship by Racing Green Engineering in Wales – the benchmark for high-quality Alvis specials.
The original chassis dates from 1950, a TA14 Alvis, fully dismantled, restored and rebuilt to the most exacting standards. The aluminium bodywork was hand-shaped, inspired by pre-war Alvis racing cars – and you can see it: long bonnet, low driving position, clean lines and those gorgeous deep-black wire wheels.
The colour? Old English White, a subtle off-white shade, paired with black stripes that harmonise perfectly with the black accents and the interior.
Under the bonnet is the famous 3. 0-litre inline-six Alvis (type TC), paired with a fully-synchronised four-speed manual gearbox – for smooth gear changes, without the frustrations of an older car.
The engine is lively, powerful and delivers a sound you’ll want to listen to again and again.
Inside, you’ll find black leather bucket seats, a black tonneau cover, and, as a finishing touch, an authentic Halda Twinmaster.
Ready for historic rallies such as the Gran Premio Nuvolari, where this Alvis has already shown its potential.
Loved for ten years by its previous owner, she is now ready for a new chapter. This is not a replica – it’s a Special built with authenticity. Perfect for those seeking the thrills of classic racing, while appreciating reliability.
A rare find for the true enthusiast. Pre-war style, post-war refinement – ready to welcome a new member into our club!
