1963 marked a turning point in automotive history with the launch of the emblematic Mercedes-Benz SL W113, better known as the “Pagoda”. This two-seater sports coupé combines Paul Bracq’s brilliant design with exceptional performance and comfort.
This 1967 example, in dark green with a Light Antique Yellow interior, has been meticulously maintained and its history is complete. Initially delivered to Paris, the car then travelled to the United States before returning to Europe in 2016, where it underwent a full restoration.
This 250 SL is fitted with the rare five-speed ZF manual gearbox, power steering, an electrically operated hardtop, and Phoenix tyres. Only 820 Pagodas were equipped with this manual transmission, of which only 112 were in 250 SL form, making this example exceptionally rare.
It is sold with its original manuals, its service book, and a complete file of maintenance invoices dating back to 1978.
