Description
Veitura offers for sale this beautiful and rare Fiat Dino Coupé 2400.
To participate in the Formula 2 championship in the 1970s, it was necessary for Ferrari to sell 500 racing-derived engines in road-legal production cars. However, at the time, Ferrari did not sell enough cars and a collaboration with Fiat was launched to reach those production figures. This is how the Ferrari Dino 206, 246 and the Fiat Dino 2000 and 2400 were born.
The Fiat Dino Coupé 2400 is the flagship model of the Dino series and features its 2. 4-litre Ferrari V6 engine producing 180 hp, linked to a five-speed manual gearbox. Only 2, 398 Fiat Dino 2400s were built at Ferrari, making them very rare and prized by collectors.
A very handsome example of Italian elegance with this 1969 Fiat Dino Coupé with only three owners.
The last owner has had the car since 2011; he bought it in Germany from a man named Dino, the second owner. He bought the car in Italy from the first owner before repatriating it to Munich. A professional in the automotive industry with his own workshop, he began by meticulously restoring his beautiful Italian car in the 2000s, notably the bodywork and paint. The original green body was repainted red, a green trace of the initial colour was deliberately left by Dino in the engine bay. The interior changed from green to red, speakers were installed on the rear shelf. Since then an anti-theft system, a battery-disconnect, and a reversible Dinoplex electrical ignition have been fitted.
This Dino shows 33, 513 km. The overall condition, wear and history lead us to think the car probably has 133, 513 km.
In terms of faults, there are minor traces of corrosion noticed on the left rear wheel arch as well as under the floor pans and tank supports. The missing wheel cap has been recently lost but is easily found online.
The tyres are new, as is the ignition system and the battery.
The vehicle passed its MOT in August 2025. CG Collection and French registration. Detailed invoices since 2011. Expert evaluation in 2016. Vehicle viewable by appointment in Alsace near Saverne (67).
