Description
Land Rover Series 2A, all original except wear-and-tear parts. Two owners from new. Original chassis in very good condition, with the front of the vehicle repainted; the rest is in good condition. No perforations. Runs very well for its age—original miles, never been around the clock on the speedometer. The vehicle was driven from 1976 to 1980, then stored in a barn due to loss of the ignition keys. Back on the road in 2024. Engine, gearbox and diffs oil change; replaced the brakes including master cylinder, clutch master and slave cylinders. Cooling system refreshed with all hoses; water pump and thermostat. New battery. Replaced all four shock absorbers. Replaced the key switch. Replaced the windscreen wiper motor and wipers. Sandblasted the wheels and repainted them. Fitted four new tyres, new hood/ canvas cover, complete ignition tune-up, and passed MOT/ technical inspection. The vehicle has been professionally appraised—awaiting the valuation.
