AC COBRA 427SC, a replica of the famous ERA builder, very faithful to the authentic car built by Carol Shelby in its proportions and design. The car is fitted with a 427 cubic-inch big-block engine (7 litres) and a 4-speed “top loader” gearbox.
The car features “Halibrand” wheels with central-locking hubs and “Avon” tyres recommended for better road holding.
A hood, side screens and a tonneau cover are added to the list of options offered by the manufacturer.
This car has a spotless history: the purchase order, along with the MCO (manufacturer certificate of origin), is included. A substantial file of invoices tracing the four owners is also provided, confirming the low mileage.
The original paint is stunning, as is the interior. The engine produces 450 bhp (verified by dyno testing).
The car is available. It is registered on a UK Historic Vehicle (collection) registration certificate, viewing/ test drives are possible by appointment, and I can arrange delivery personally.
