This car was specially built for the Heritage Grand Touring Car championship in England and has enjoyed considerable success throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.

It is eligible for the Mini 7 Club Libre trophy in the United Kingdom as well as hillclimbs throughout Europe and Great Britain, the Angoulême circuit and Saloon Car racing in France.

SPECIFICATION:

BODYWORK
Original Cooper S shell, the previous owner had the car prepared to the maximum limits permitted by HGTCC regulations.
Much of this work was entrusted to world-renowned rally preparation specialist Gartrac, and included a T45 safety cage roll bar welded to the chassis.
The boot floor has also been modified to lower the vehicle's centre of gravity and to accommodate a 45-litre aluminium fuel tank.
Windscreens are Perspex, the windscreen is original.
Semi-aluminium and steel doors.
Original one-piece steel front panel which dismounts quickly for excellent access to the engine and suspension.
Bonnet is fibreglass.

SUSPENSION:
During its racing life, the car underwent continuous development with many components designed by its previous owner.
Adjustable combined dampers front and rear.
Adjustable castor rods custom-fabricated.
Front and rear suspension with Uniball-type spherical joints.
Adjustable camber front and rear.
Adjustable anti-roll bars front and rear.
Aluminium rear arms machined from solid.

ENGINE:
Series A 1460cc rebuilt summer 2018.
Kent 310 camshaft with adjustable valve timing.
MED Multi-Web crankshaft.
Long H-section connecting rods.
Omega forged short-skirt pistons.
Lightened flywheel.
Arden 8-port aluminium cylinder head with large valves.
Minispares fuel injection system.
Custom Maniflow exhaust system with side exit through the tunnel.

GEARBOX
MED straight-cut dog-engagement gears rebuilt summer 2018.
Locking differential.

WHEELS
Three-piece aluminium with centre locking.

BRAKES
Dual KAD master cylinders with adjustable front-to-rear balance.
4-piston calipers with ventilated discs at the front, KAD calipers and discs at the rear.
