I am selling my 1993 Peugeot 405 Mi16 Phase 2, powered by the 1. 9-litre 16-valve engine producing 152 bhp.
The car has covered 250, 000 km and is entirely original, including its original Peugeot alloy wheels.
I have owned the car for three and a half years and I am the sixth owner. It presents very well overall and will appeal to an enthusiast of 1990s French sporting cars.
Mechanicals and maintenance:
The engine runs perfectly and the car drives very well.
Several jobs have been carried out recently:
* New clutch, fitted around 2, 000 km ago.
* Engine oil change carried out alongside the clutch replacement in early 2026.
* Driveshaft gaiters replaced.
* Two track rod ends replaced.
* Power steering ram replaced.
I also have service invoices predating my purchase.
General condition:
* Bodywork: original paint, with a few small chips and two or three spots that would need paintless dent repair.
* Wheels: original Peugeot alloy wheels, undamaged, but they would benefit from a repaint.
* Interior: upholstery in very good condition.
* Corrosion: no rust found.
* MOT: up to date.
The car has remained in its original specification. It presents well for its age and mileage.
I would prefer to sell to an enthusiast who will appreciate this Mi16 for its originality and character.
