I am offering for sale my stunning 1982 AC Cobra ERA 427 SC in Bleu de Gênes, fitted with the legendary 7. 0-litre Big Block 427 FE SIDE OILER.
The Shelby Cobra is an iconic model, and its replicas have spawned numerous manufacturers. Among them, ERA Replica Automobiles is one of the most respected names in the United States, particularly for its build quality and adherence to original specifications. This example stands out for its serious and coherent construction, clearly ahead of many replicas on the market (Contemporary, Unique Motorcars, Shell Valley, Dax, Pilgrim…).
The car is in as-new condition, with a new Ford 'Bleu de Gênes' repaint carried out 2 months ago.
Engine:
* 7. 0-litre Ford 427 FE 'Big Block' SIDE OILER, as new
* Edelbrock aluminium intake manifold
* Roller rockers
* Edelbrock aluminium cylinder heads
* Spot-on oil pressure, a sign of a very healthy engine
* Oil change carried out / oil filter replaced
* 'Pusher' fans drawing cool air through the radiator, the car never overheats with this very efficient setup
* Automatic fan activation OR manual fan activation via the lower switch to the left of the speedometer (to be used as a precaution as soon as the water temperature reaches 85°)
* Ceramic-coated stainless steel side exits / ceramic-coated exhaust manifolds
Transmission:
* 4-speed TopLoader gearbox (identical to the units fitted to Cobras in the 1960s)
Interior:
* Stewart Warner instrumentation (all gauges working)
