The Saturno 500 is a charismatic Italian single-cylinder motorcycle that has earned a devoted following for its characterful, air-cooled machinery. With its thumping 498cc engine and unmistakable styling, the Saturno occupies a special place in the pantheon of Italian motorcycling.

This particular example was purchased around 1981 and arrived in the UK in army green before being comprehensively refurbished and repainted in the red and black colours so closely associated with the Gilera name.
