The Appeal

The original 70s Caddy Coupe De Ville took the idea of long, razor-edged and low to extremes, delivering a glamorous two-door car that seems to singlehandedly sum up peak late-period Detroit. Presumably not content with all that, a previous keeper of this remarkable ‘76 took things one big, long and extremely low step further.

Now finished in a fetching two-tone black and burgundy metalflake and equipped with a rebuilt engine and three pump hydraulic suspension set up, this car is now the legal definition of low rider. We love it, in part because we’re getting Huggy Bear Starsky and Hutch vibes, in part because we just love the creativity and excess.

The vendor acquired the car in 2023 and has used it sparingly. He tells us that it has been properly stored and also looked after by specialist Car Vault London (formally The Classic Car Club). This is a serious show stopper.
