Description
Regrettable Sale of a well loved family member. I am looking for a good home for my 1993 2 litre Mercedes-Benz 190e which has been in our family now for almost 24 years and has only travelled some 63, 000 miles from new. The car was first registered to the Robert Stigwood Organisation in London on 15th January 1993. At that time it was the chauffeur driven transport of the well known theatre impressario David Land who is credited with giving the unknown Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice their first real break in Showbusiness, and the rest they say is history!
Ownership of the car then passed to my father-in-law in November 1994 and it has been owned by various members of our family ever since.
The car which is in a highly distinctive blue/ black metallic was originally supplied with an all leather black interior, leather gear shift knob and leather steering wheel. It also has electric windows all round together with an electric tilt and slide steel sun roof and alloy wheels including the spare.
The car underwent a light restoration of the bodywork in 2015 when the alloy wheels were refurbished. At the time of its annual service in December 2016 it was then fitted with new brake discs and pads all round as well as new front shock absorbers. The alloy wheels are fitted with a set of Firestone tyres which are all in a very good condition.
This is a very honest and reliable 190e which is a delight to drive, always starts first time and has only covered just over 63, 000 miles from new. The car has an MOT until 29th December 2018 and comes with two ignition keys, partial Mercedes service history, original drivers pack, original warning triangle and even the original first aid kit! MUST BE SOLD AS GARAGE SPACE NEEDED FOR NEW CAR!
